Electro Volt Equipments Private Limited (E.V.E) was established in 1958 as a manufacturing unit. Since its inception, the organization has been expanding at a steady pace. Today, it operates comprehensive design, sales, manufacturing, and quality control departments based in Howrah.

Over the years, E.V.E has also established a machine shop and an assembly shop, primarily focused on manufacturing and supplying safety material handling equipment and machinery for Indian Railways and various industries.
